The 6/0 to 1/0 range of wicks, are constructed a bit differently than the larger wicks, but all of them are square which helps to channel the wax fumes up to the flame. It is important to keep your wicks well labeled and separated since similar sizes look identical. Often the only difference is the tightness of the braiding.

While many factors dictate the size wick required to properly burn a candle, there are two that make the biggest difference: the type of wax and the diameter of the candle.
Those two bits of information and our wick guide will take most of the guess work out of wicking your candles.
These recommendations are estimates only. Use this chart as a starting point to conduct your own burn tests. We can not guarantee that these wicks will work perfectly in your candles.

*Beeswax Note:
Beeswax can be very difficult to wick. When, where, and how it was obtained all play a factor in how it will perform in candles. With so many variations it's hard to give accurate wick recommendations for Beeswax. For this reason it will take a bit more testing to find the best one for your candle.
